Origin Australian Diamonds v New Zealand Silver Ferns

The Origin Australian Diamonds have been crowned Constellation Cup champions after defeating the New Zealand Silver Ferns 57-53 in the must-win final clash of the series.

The victory marks the Diamonds' 100th win over the Silver Ferns.

The Diamonds had a tough challenge in front of them when they returned from New Zealand, down by two matches - and 12 goals - in the battle for the Constellation Cup. No team had ever won the Constellation Cup after losing the first two matches, however, spurred on by their home crowd the Diamonds went on to win the series.

The Diamonds now have won the Constellation Cup 10 times.
