One of the best shooters of her generation, Anne Sargeant OAM had a decorated international career that continued for many years to follow as a TV commentator and ambassador of the sport.
An agile and accurate shooter, Sargeant proudly wore the green and gold for 11 years from 1978, the last six as captain.
She was renowned for her sweet shooting skills, highlighted by three consecutive Tests where she shot at 100 per cent accuracy on Australia’s tour of Wales in 1985.
