Courtney Bruce

2021 was a banner year for Fever captain Courtney Bruce, with her incredible play at both a national and international level seeing her be named the first defender to win the Liz Ellis Diamond in a decade.

Bruce was named in the Diamonds’ squad for the first time in late 2016, making her debut during the 2017 International Quad Series. With a big reach and a spooky ability to anticipate passing patterns, she’s now one of the first players selected in every Diamonds squad.
