Gretel Bueta

It's been a big couple of years for Gretel Bueta. Since her first Netball World Cup in 2019, she went on to be crowned the Liz Ellis Diamond that year, before she dropped the 'Tippett' in 2020 and added a baby boy to her family in 2021.

With her trademark ‘lay-up’ shooting style and extreme athleticism, Gretel's been bamboozling opponents since her debut international appearance at the 2015 Constellation Cup. Bueta is an unorthodox, surprising and versatile 191cm goaler. She was a member of the 2013 Australian World Youth Cup side, and now works as a professional excitement machine for the Queensland Firebirds.
