An accomplished wing defence, the Tasmanian-born Chokljat-Lew was often called on to fill the roles of centre or wing attack over her 29-Test career. The 2003 Netball World Cup in Jamaica was the only major tournament she played in her career, where Australia claimed silver.
Chokljat captained an invitational World 7 side in a three-Test Series against New Zealand in 2009.
She joined Melbourne Phoenix in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy after representing Australia at 21/U level and was part of four premiership sides.
When the ANZ Championship began in 2008, Chokljat was part of the Melbourne Vixens for three seasons before crossing the Tasman and spending a season with the Southern Steel.
