Persistence and hard work are the trademarks of Rebecca Bulley’s netball career.
She was first named in the Australian squad in 2005 but had to wait until 2008 before she made her Test debut.
The reliable defender was a consistent performer in the former Commonwealth Bank Trophy and then the ANZ Championship for a decade.
Bulley also holds the distinction of being the first to win three ANZ Championship titles at different teams – the NSW Swifts (2008), Adelaide Thunderbirds (2013) and Queensland Firebirds (2014).
She announced her retirement from netball after being part of Australia’s triumphant 2015 Netball World Cup team in Sydney.
