Check out the full Spotify playlist and keep reading a below for a quick description of each song from Kelsey herself.
I've created a little playlist to act as the soundtrack of our current Quad Series adventures in the UK.
Here goes...
- It's Not Living (If it's Not With You) - The 1975 (Manchester, UK)
We started our tour in Manchester so why not start with a song from one of my favourite bands who originate from Manchester?
- Here Comes the Sun - The Beatles (Liverpool, UK)
Although this title is quite contrary to what happens in England this time of year, it's not a playlist that represents this place without these legends included! Also, our send stop and current location is Liverpool.
- Somebody to Love - Queen (London, UK)
Our final destination for this Quad Series is London - home to the famous Wembley Stadium. Fun fact: one of Freddy Mercury's final shows with Queen was in 1986 at Wembley Stadium for their "Magic Tour".
- Cherry Wine - Hozier (County Wicklow, IRE)
A song for walking the streets and exploring a new city.
- LEON'S Lullaby - LEON (Stockholm, Sweden)
A song for dealing with jet lag.
- Tieduprightnow - Parcels (Byron Bay, AUS)
A song for the treatment tables.
- Powder Blue - Yumi Zouma (New Zealand)
A song for taping prior to training.
- Foreign Language - Flight Facilities (Sydney, AUS)
- When we need a boogie before the game to settle the nerves.
- You are the Best Thing - Ray LaMontagne (New Hampshire, USA)
A song for the ice baths.
- Long Distance - Gretta Ray (Melbourne, AUS)
- A song for the long haul back to Australia.
- Don't Go Breaking My Heart - Elton John (London, UK)
- She Moves in Her Own Way - The Kooks (Brighton, UK)
Finally, two of the best to come out of England... well, obviously not in the same league but both excellent in their own right.
And a couple of extras...
- Toothpaste Kisses - The Maccabees (London, UK)
- World of our Love - Client Liason (Melbourne, AUS)
- Bloom - The Paper Kites (Melbourne, AUS)
