If the Diamonds win, they will bring the Quad Series trophy back home, whereas a loss will leave them waiting for the result of South Africa versus England.
Both teams had victory in round two, with the Diamonds holding off the Roses with a four-goal win, and the Silver Ferns beating the Proteas by five goals.
Last time they met, in October 2017, it was the Diamonds who won by a 16-goal margin in Sydney. This time around neither team has a home court advantage, and both have plenty to prove.
Paige Hadley returns to the team of 12, adding another option in the midcourt. Known for her resilience, expect her to be brought on court at any time.
This is your last chance to watch the Samsung Diamonds before the Commonwealth Games, so don’t miss out.

From the coach
“They will hit back hard after out last meeting at the Constellation Cup last October, of that I am certain. We’ve both had tough outings in the Quad Series and it will be important to finish the series strong.
“We know each other’s games really well and we need to be prepared for that and what they are going to bring to our contest. We’ll need to be ruthless against New Zealand and press home an advantage if given the opportunity. If we give them an inch, they’ll take the full mile and run with it.
Fast facts
- If Australia beat New Zealand, they will win the Quad Series title. If New Zealand win, the title will be determined by the winning margin of England versus South Africa (to be shown live on the Netball Live App from 1.30am AEDT).
- Australia has played New Zealand twice in South Africa, both in Durban. New Zealand won 52-40 on 28 November 2000, whilst Australia won 57-50 on 28 January 2017.
- Should she take to court, Kim Ravaillion will play her 50th test match for Australia. She made her Diamonds debut on 20 January 2013, as the only player to make an international debut before even playing a national league game.
