The Samsung Diamonds will take on its greatest international rival, New Zealand Silver Ferns in games three and four of the 2019 Constellation Cup Series to be contested at Qudos Bank Arena (Sydney) and RAC Arena (Perth).
Following their gold medal game at the Netball World Cup 2019 in Liverpool (UK), which saw the Silver Ferns claim a one goal victory, 52-51, the Diamonds will be out to reclaim the trans-Tasman supremacy in this year's four game series.
Samsung Diamonds' captain Caitlin Bassett said: "The Netball World Cup showed the long-term standing rivalry between Australia and New Zealand is as strong as ever and every game comes down to the wire."
The rivalry between the Diamonds and Silver Ferns is one of the world's most historic, respected, intense sporting rivalries producing some of the most thrilling and nail-biting encounters since 1938.
Netball Australia CEO Marne Fechner said: "The Constellation Cup is one of the most exciting fixtures on your calendar and we're thrilled to be hosting the final two matches in Sydney and Perth. For as long as anyone can remember, the clashes between the Diamonds and the Silver Ferns have always been matches that get us on the edges of our seats and this year isn't going to be any different."
The 2019 Constellation Cup series will be the first time the Diamonds have played in Perth since 2015, with the event in Perth supported by the State Government, through Tourism WA and the Department of Local Government and Cultural Industries.
