Fresh off a gold medal-winning performance at the Commonwealth Games the Origin Australian Diamonds' inspirational year on court has not gone unnoticed.
The team has been nominated for a Women's Health Women in Sport Award for 2022 in the 'Champion Team' category.
The Diamonds, ranked world number one, put on an incredible display in Birmingham to claim the gold medal with a 55-51 win against Jamaica.
They also claimed victory over the England Roses during a Quad Series in London earlier this year.
The teams' trophy haul is impressive - including 11 World Cups.
The Diamonds have qualified for the 2023 Netball World Cup in South Africa in top spot.
Netball fans can catch the Diamonds this October as they finally bring test netball back home after 1088 days.
They will take on New Zealand in the Constellation Cup before turning their attention to a three-match test series against England.
The last time the Diamonds played on home soil was when they hosted the Silver Ferns at the 2019 Constellation Cup (which feels like a lifetime ago).
But the long wait is almost over.
