West Coast Fever defender and Origin Australian Diamond Sunday Aryang has been named as a finalist for the Women's Health Women in Sport Awards for 2022.
Aryang has been nominated in the 'Young Achiever' category after an incredible year on the netball court.
The 21-year-old burst onto the scene in 2019 when she debuted for the Fever and has gone from strength to strength, breaking into the Diamonds squad earlier this year.
Aryang became the first African-born woman to represent Australia at the highest level in the sport when she stepped out on court for a Quad Series in London.
She enjoyed a stellar 2022 season, ending it with a premiership with her West Coast Fever teammates.
That feat was capped off with a gold medal at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
