Hadley was rewarded by selectors for her outstanding performances at the five-day Samsung Diamonds training camp which concluded in Canberra yesterday.
Samsung Diamonds head coach Lisa Alexander said she’s delighted to welcome Hadley back into the Diamonds program.
“Paige was part of the victorious 2015 Netball World Cup Diamonds team and part of our squad from 2013 to 2018, so we’re thrilled to have Paige and her extensive experience back within our program,” she said.
“Paige’s efforts on and off the court over the past five days at camp have been outstanding – she has really impressed myself and my fellow selectors.”
Hadley was one of five invited into the Samsung Diamonds camp to train alongside the current squad and has been elevated based on her performances over the five days.
Hadley debuted as a Diamond in 2013 against Malawi in Newcastle and is now the co-vice-captain of the NSW Swifts.
The 2019 Netball World Cup team will be announced in late May and the Netball World Cup will take place in Liverpool from 12-21 July.
