The Samsung Australian Diamonds are undefeated and have progressed through to the next phase of the 2019 Vitality Netball World Cup finishing top of their pool.

The Samsung Diamonds have faced Barbados on 12 occasions in the past and won all encounters, the most recent being at the 2018 Commonwealth Games where Australia defeated Barbados by 55.
The first three days of the 2019 Vitality Netball World Cup saw the Samsung Diamonds take a clean sweep of their pool matches to finish top of the table. The results were as follows:
- GAME 1 - Australia (88) defeated Northern Ireland (24)
- GAME 2 - Australia (73) defeated Zimbabwe (37)
- GAME 3 - Australia (99) defeated Sri Lanka (24)
